Yair Aharoni has been awarded the Israel Prize for his outstanding academic contribution in the field of management and for his outstanding contribution to the development of the academic field of business management in Israel.
The Israel Prize is the highest and most coveted award to be awarded by the State of Israel and is presented every year by the President of the country to the very few Israelis who have made, in their life time, an outstanding contribution to the sciences, arts, culture, and to the development of the State.
Yair Aharoni is the first and to date the only Israeli to be awarded the Israel Prize in the field of business management.
